A Texas-based Nigerian man has been arrested and charged for the murder of his younger wife.
Martin Ebegbodi, a 63-year-old man made the shocking confession in police detention.
Martin said he shot his wife dead during a fight around 3:00am on Saturday, the 22nd of March, 2014 in their home in West Harris County, Texas.
According to police report, after killing his wife, he knocked on his neighbour’s door and told them to call 911.
When police arrived at the couple’s home, they found the lifeless body of Ebegbodi’s wife, Isioma on the floor. He was immediately arrested and taken into police custody.
63-year-old Martins married 36-year-old Isioma on the 11th of February 2005 in Houston Texas.
They both lived together at 19700 block of Youpon Leaf Way before the mishap.
