Why is everyone showing off their passport on Instagram?

Excuse my ignorance please. What I don't know, there's no crime in asking right? What's with our celebs and this show of passport? Are they trying to tell us something we don't already know?We know they travel round the world already.what else are we supposed  to know?Arrgh, some people can just fall hand.

  1. Why are these people such pumped up show off's? Don't nobody care where you were born?Your country of birth does not define you or make you who you are Lol!Shoooo my parents driver was born in America and he is still a driver!

Is Joseph Ameh not aware of Identity theft and terible mishaps involved? Is he not technology savvy? Who cares if you were born in the United States of Antarctica?

Keep it private and keep it moving!!

  3. I think the social media has made many of us attention whore or how do we define this? You see bbm updates: shower things, wedding things, club things, they go to shoprite, whether to window shop or otherwise, they snap, they go to kfc, they snap, even when they see peeps off to the airport, they announce. I wonder Why kidnappers have not stepped up their games with all these free info. Its very terrible oh! Sincerely.

    2. We can't blame the social media per say; aint people ovreseas on these platforms too? I think it boils down to self esteem issues; the need that we blacks have to show off our material acquisitions in order to keep up with the jonses and the social platform is the cheapest opportunity for them

    3. Social media takes the larger bulk. Before d advent of fbk,Instagram, keek, blackberry, etc, life was normal. No one was under much pressure to validate his/her big boy/girl status. Then came Facebook and life never remained the same anymore.

  5. I think it's becoming a trend.u build Hse,post it,buy land, post it,even if u are wearing designer and nobody notices, they still write it in bracket(Gucci things).so posting passport is even nothing.e remain to post the plane as e dey take off.(take off things)

  7. When u scream God's name during sex, I wonder if u are trying to remind Him to punish u later..Likewise when u show off ur passport, cheque on instagram, I wonder if u are trying to remind them ,I'm yet to be kidnapped ooo. Pls come & kidnap me..I believe nobody can change our celebrities, but something can be d reason for them to change...Kidnap.
